With the twin 165mm bass speakers, (one a passive radiator), the 90mm midrange and 25mm super tweeter, the E4 reproduces any sound with power and precision. The big advantage of using a midrange driver is that the important frequency range from 800 Hz upwards is reproduced by a driver placed on a vertical line with the tweeter. You’ll find a larger ‘sweet spot’ and a more homogenous and live sound stage with better dispersion. Evidence E.4 is naturally voice-matched with all speakers in the Evidence series but may of course be used in any good home theatre system.
